When do I need to pay the outstanding amount?


The outstanding amount of the reservation, along with the refundable security deposit, must be paid when checking into the apartment, with a credit card or in cash.

Do I need to pay a supplement if I use my credit card?


No, unlike other tourist apartments in Barcelona, we do not charge any supplement for paying with a credit card.

How can I cancel my reservation?


If you cancel or change your reservation up to 30 days before the day of your arrival, the establishment shall not charge you anything. If you cancel or change your reservation up to 15 days before the date of your arrival, the establishment shall charge you 25% of the entire stay. If you cancel or change your reservation up to 7 days before the date of your arrival, the establishment shall charge you 50% of the entire stay. If you cancel or change your reservation outside of these periods or do not turn up, the establishment shall charge you 100% of the entire stay.

When is my reservation firm and confirmed?


For a reservation to be considered firm and confirmed, 25% of the total reservation has to have been paid, except the refundable safety deposit. You will receive a confirmation email regarding your reservation within the next 24 hours or 48 hours at weekends or on public holidays.

At what time can I enter the apartment?


The apartment is available from 3.00 p.m. and check-in can be done at the actual apartments 24 hours a day. If we have availability, we would be delighted to offer you your apartment before 3.00 p.m. If you are going torequire this service, please inform us by email at info@hometohomebarcelona.com info@hometohomebarcelona.comand we will let you know if this is possible.

If there any supplement if I arrive at night or after midnight?


There is an additional cost for arriving at night: €20 after 9.00 p.m. and €50 after midnight.

How do I enter the building?


During the check-in process, a person will be waiting for you in the building so you must reply to the email we will send you asking you to send us your flight number and approximate time of arrival. Then, when you have your keys, you can easily access the building by putting your proximity card near the square receptor located just under the entry phone.

Do the apartments have parking?


Our establishment does not have its own parking in the building, but we do have limited places nearby that are subject to availability and must be requested in advance at info@hometohomebarcelona.comThe cost is €20 per day.

How do I enter the apartment?


We will provide you with two proximity cards that will enable you to access the establishment, the apartment and the solarium and chill-out zones located on the top terrace of our building. s

How can I double lock the apartment?


For greater security, we advise you to close the door when you leave the apartment and once closed put the card near the door knob. The door knob will unblock and will turn green, enabling you to double lock by turning the door knob as if it were a normal door.

It is important to double lock the door, given that if there is a robbery, insurance companies are only liable if the apartment is double locked.

Can I bring pets?


Pets are not allowed in the apartments. If this rule is breached, you will be asked to leave the apartment with no right to future claims or any kind of compensation. This shall also entail the total loss of the rental amount and the reimbursable security deposit.

At what time do I need to leave the apartment?


Check out from the apartment must be done before 11.00 a.m. If you want to leave later than the stipulated time, you must consult the staff or send an email to info@hometohomebarcelona.com and we shall inform you if this is possible.

How many people can occupy theapartment?


The number of people that can use the apartment can in no event exceed the maximum capacity allocated toeach apartment, except in the case of children under two years of age.

If a violation of the rule is detected by staff from the establishment or throughthe video surveillance system, Home to Home Barcelona,at its own judgement, shallhave the right to ask the client to leave the apartment withoutthe right to claim any kind of compensation.
Bear in mind that municipal regulations are very strict with regard to this matter.

Is the any supplement for having a cot in theapartment?


Of course not. If requested, we can provide you with a cot and high chair totally free of charge. The big 43” television also has several children’s channels for you kids to enjoy during your stay. We will also provide you with children’s crockery and cutleryat no additional charge.

What happens if some thing breaks?


If something breaks by accident, please contact the apartment staff if you can find them or call us on the 24 hours telephone number that we gave you as soon as possible so that we can replace the item as quickly as possible while we assess whether or not you need to pay for the damage.

How can I access the solarium and chill-out zones on the top terrace of the building?


To access the top terrace area, you will need your apartment key. This zone is accessible between 9.30 a.m. and 9.30 p.m. Out ofthese hours, the area will remain closed. Remember that the area is under video surveillance and that the basic rule is to respect the neighbours.

Who do I contact if I need help or information?


In the event of an emergency you can call us 24 hours a day on the emergency telephone number that you will be provided with when you arrive, but if you need anything, be it a restaurant recommendation in the area or advice on what to do with the children that day, do not hesitate to call us or send us an email at info@hometohomebarcelona.com

Will Ihave a cleaning service during my stay?


Daily cleaningis not included in the price. For stays of 7 nights or more, the price includes one free cleaningof the apartment and a change of towels and bed linen. If you need any additional cleaning,ask us and we will be delighted to attend toyour needs (cost of service €36).

Can I drink tap water?


Tap water in Barcelona is clean and safe to drink throughout the city . However , due to the high sodium content it has a flavor that can be unpleasant to some visitors . Bottled water can be found in supermarket located a few meters of our establishment

How is check-out from the apartment done?


At the time agreed with the person who attended to you when you arrived and who will take care of you at all times, we will come to do the check-outand make sure that everything has gone well. If you are leaving earlyin the morning, your Home to Home assistant will give you specific instructions. Remember to leave both access cards to the apartment and the parking space key if youhave used it, otherwise we will have to charge your credit card €10 for the apartment access cards and €20 for the parking key.

How should I hand over the apartment?


Clients must leave the apartment in perfect condition, throw out rubbish and clean the apartment and cookware.Otherwise, your credit card could be charged for an additional cleaning.

Is smoking permitted in the apartments?


In accordance with the new anti-smoking law, smokingis not permitted in our apartments. However, smoking is allowed on the outdoor balconies or in the chill-out zone on thetop terrace of our apartments.

Are there any rules regarding behaviour in the apartments?


Our apartments are located in a residential neighbour hood, where people who need to get up early to go to work live and their sleeping hours must be respected. Sleeping hours are from 10.00 p.m. to 10.00 a.m.

Loud music, shouting, parties and inappropriate behaviour tha disturbsthe other guests or neighbours is strictly prohibited. If there are any complaints and/or the neighbours call the police, this can be reason for immediate eviction from the apartment regardless of the time of day or night and with no right whatsoever toany claim and losing the prepaid rental amount and the reimbursable security deposit.

What is the tourist tax?


The tourist tax was established by theCatalonian Government and is a tax on accommodation of 0.72 euros per person per night, with a maximum of 7 nights. It is not included in the price of the apartment and should be paid when you check in. Children and guests under 17 years of age are exempt.
